CaseWORK – Helping the Helpers

Are you a volunteer working with refugees and asylum seekers? Do you love to help but sometimes feel a little bit lost or left alone with your responsibilities and daily challenges?

CaseWORK intends to support voluntary helpers who are engaged in the field of migration. Organizing and maintaining a network of support is an extraordinarily challenging task which can leave volunteers feeling left alone and overwhelmed. True to their motto „Help for the Helpers“, CaseWORK is dedicated to filling that gap by providing psychological support, orientation and intercultural competence training for volunteers.

Our Aim Is to Support YOU – the Helpers!

The project develops a flexible online training seminar including three learning modules. Volunteers will be enabled to inform themselves about legal issues, recent decisions and developments, to strengthen their intercultural competences and they will get psychological support tailored for their special needs and daily challenges – all online and accessible at any time.

We have created several training courses that provide you with general information on legal frameworks and the asylum system, on important topics in the field of psychological support, and on communication skills and intercultural competence. We want to assist you in your work with refugees and asylum seekers so that you can perform your work well prepared and effectively. According to your level of knowledge and your personal interests you can freely enroll in the course modules that suit you best.
