International Conference #Open Education for #Integration

The international conference #OpenEducation for #Integration is going to take place on the 18th of February 2020 at the Innovation in Learning Institute (ILI) of the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg. The conference starts at 09:00 and ends at 17:15. An agenda will be published within the next few days.

The conference focuses on different models of open and digital education adressing the following topics:

  • Volunteering,
  • Migration,
  • Integration,
  • Hard-to-Reach Groups,
  • Vocational Training.

As the conference takes place in the scope of the Erasmus+ project CaseWORK, it will specifically address the concept of the online training seminar for volunteers working in the field of migration and the outcomes of the piloting phase.

By expanding its focus, the conference takes a glimpse at various other topics centering around open eduction for integration and thus provides an opportunity for scientific and general exchange and networking in the field. Experts from all partner countries will be invited and everyone who is interested in the field is warmly welcomed.

The venue of the conference – the Innovation in Learning Institute – is the competence centre for digital education of the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg. ILI focuses on technological as well as pedagogical innovation in learning and is engaged in various different projects in the field of digital education and lifelong learning.

Please note! As the conference takes place in the context of an Erasmus+ project with partners from many different EU countries, the main language of the conference will be English. Nevertheless a small number of workshops and sessions will also be held in german.
