Training Session: Critical Situations in Intercultural Contexts

In this course participants learn to practically apply the knowledge and competences gained in the online learning module. It focuses on practical examples, tasks and quizzes.

We will define critical situations potentially occurring in intercultural communication. You will be able to identify hotspots (e.g. welcome rituals, topics and taboos) and hotwords connected to cultural values.

Finally we will explain and discuss the concept of critical incidents and back it up with examples corresponding to your voluntary work in the field of integration.
