Arriving in Germany, many migrants are faced with the question of a temporary and later also a long-term place to stay. This is a central issue, especially for fugitives who have left for Germany involuntarily and without much possessions. There is a great need for privacy and thus for their own home.

In Germany, the accommodation of refugees during the asylum application process is clearly regulated. On the following pages you will find out when fugitives can move into their own home and what conditions are necessary.
