Learning objectives

Once you have completed this course,

  • you will have an overview about the asylum system in Slovenia and about its basic functions;
  • you will know about the different types of protection and receive information about the procedures and special regulations for applicants for international protection;
  • you will have information about accommodation in the Asylum Home;
  • you will know under which conditions restrictions of movements apply;
  • you will know the difference between regular and expedited procedure;
  • you know the procedures for persons who do not apply for international protection;
  • you are aware of the different types of Slovenian court proceedings procedures.
