Gender based violence in the context of forced migrations

This phenomenon is on the rise, due to the increase in the demand of the sex and low-cost labour markets. The women involved are increasingly being recruited from every social class, but there is also a growing awareness of and sensitivity towards gender based violence, so there is a good chance for more and more women to escape the restrictions of slavery if aided by other women.
