In this course you will learn about…

  • the fundamentals of the German asylum system,
  • forms of protection, and their implications,
  • different residence permits types and their meaning,
  • the procedures regarding underage refugees,
  • the basic regulations governing family reunification.
This section of the course is intended to give you an overview and some basic information about the german asylum system. Please note that you do not have to be an expert in this field to support refugees. The aim is to give you a basic guideline so that you could give general advice and refer to other experts if necessary.
