Obtaining a work permit in Germany, like many other things, depends on a person’s residence permit. Depending on the status, there are different ways and conditions for obtaining a work permit. For asylum seekers who already have a professional qualification in their home country, it is also important to obtain recognition of the degree they have already completed 1.
