Introduction

People who flee to Austria arrive here with different educational levels, depending on the educational situation in their country of origin and their social background. Before the civil war in Syria, the education system in many parts of the country had reached a high level.

In Afghanistan, on the other hand, women have had little access to education for many years, and many young men from rural areas hardly have any formal educational qualifications.

In addition, the topic „Language, values and orientation courses“ will be dealt with. Finally, useful contact and counselling points are presented, to which they can turn with further questions.
