Summary

In this course you have learned about the Slovenian social security and social insurance system.

You know about family allowances, child benefit parental protection and pension insurance and under which conditions they can be obtained.

You know the difference between compulsory and supplementary health insurance and the structure of the Slovenian and about the health care rights of asylum seekers and people who have been granted international protection.

You know about primary health care services, health care services for family members, specialist health care and hospitals, special health care service for women and dental services.

You have also learned about mandatory vaccinations for children and which health care services are available for traumatized persons and persons with torture experience.

Finally, you have information about further advice and service centres.
