- to train the knowledge you have gained by means of practical examples, self reflection tasks and quizzes;
- to recap the psychological concepts of altruism and egoism and their relevance for helping others;
- to be aware of institutional frameworks, motive types, psychological functions and benefits of volunteering;
- to identify the specific challenges volunteers in refugee aid have to face and to know how to deal with them;
- to clarify the concept of stress and the impact of stress on mental and physical health;
- to get aware of recovery and relaxation and their relevance for keeping a healthy balance;
- to identify active regeneration, soul food, relaxation and exercise as approved ways for recovering.
