Once you have completed this course unit,

• you have information with which you can get an overview of the Austrian education system and basic regulations
• you have basic information on language, value and orientation courses
• you can pass on information about advice centres and thus offer support

This section is intended to give you an overview and some basic information about education and language courses in Austria. Please note that you do not have to be an expert in this field to support refugees.

The aim is to give a basic orientation so that you can give basic advice if necessary and refer to advice and service centres of the federal and provincial governments if necessary.
