When working through this course section you will
- get to know what stress is and how it arises;
- get able to distinguish between stress triggers and stress reactions;
- become familiar with physical, behavioral and and cognitive-emotional stress reactions;
- be aware that a chronically increased stress level can cause exhaustion, burnout and depression;
- know strategies to handle your tasks in a healthy way;
- know how to deal with traumatised people and individuals in crises;
- be aware of potential rejection and aggression and ways how to cope with them;
- know the importance of recovering, balancing and relaxing for staying physically and mentally healthy;
- become acquainted with strategies of active regeneration and know how to find the right ones for your current mental state;
- be aware how relevant it is to give yourself some „soul food„;
- know methods of active relaxation and mindfulness and how to practice them;
- appreciate the importance of sport and exercise and know the two ways how to integrate them into your daily routine: more activity in everyday life and regular exercising.
