The Elements

The CaseWORK Training Seminar provides three modules:

Courses are the smaller units you can find within a module. Each of our modules include five to six different courses. You are allowed to choose freely in which order you would like to work through them but we highly recommend to follow the given order displayed by the numbering of the courses.

Quizzes

Each course includes two to four quizzes. You don’t have to take the quizzes in order to procede but its nice to challenge oneself once in a while. You can check your own progress and find out whether you have understood the content properly.

Self-Reflection Tasks

Self Reflection Tasks are supposed to make you think about the contents more deeply and to relate them to yourself. Some of them will be discussed in the forum. You will find further information about the forum below.

In this course we have included an achievement system to keep you motivated and to provide you with an overview of what you have done so far and which courses are still to be explored. You can earn a badge for the completion of each course. For completing all courses of one module you get a small certificate. If you complete all three modules (the first module „Information“ only has to be completed in your country-version) you can order a printed version of a certificate of attendance.

How to get to the achievements

If you are in a module, there is a dark blue button above the courses saying „Sehen Sie sich Ihre Erfolge an“.

If you click on it you will be redirected to an overview of your achievements. You can also navigate to your account manually. Just click the tab „account“ in the upper right area of the screen.

We have included a forum for each country so that you can get in touch with other volunteers working in the field. Why don’t you check it out and introduce yourself? Visit the forum here.

Please note: We have include some tasks in the courses which are supposed be discussed with others in the forum. We warmly invite you to share your opinions and to get in touch with the others!

The CaseWORK Training Seminar is funded by the European Union and we need to evaluate our offer. We don’t charge you any money for taking the courses but you can easily „pay us back“ by participating at all of our anonymous surveys. Your data is of course used in the context of this project only and all of your answers are anonymous.
